		Piper Jaffray analysts Thomas J. Gunderson and Kyle R. Bauser talked with Sientra Inc (NASDAQ: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/sien#NASDAQ">SIEN</a>)&rsquo;s management team, following the release of the company&rsquo;s 8K regarding its manufacturer, Silimed.</li>

		After their chat, the experts assure they do not expect the manufacturing glitch for EU products to impact on the company&rsquo;s U.S. supply.</li>

		Shares of Sientra fell more than 53 percent on Thursday.</li>
</ul>

	On Thursday, Sientra issued a letter to its plastic surgeon customers, letting them know that Silimed&rsquo;s European shipments had been halted, as the the UK governing body &ldquo;suspended the CE mark for Silimed&rsquo;s products.&rdquo; The suspension was not related to any threats to patients&rsquo; safety.

	According to Sientra, Silimed is working assiduously to solve the issues as soon as possible.

	Despite the steep decline in the stock price, analysts at Piper Jaffray maintain their Overweight rating and $28 price target on Sientra&rsquo;s stock. They note that the company has &ldquo;reiterated confidence in the safety of their own product which is manufactured separately at Silimed under the FDA&rsquo;s PMA clearance.&rdquo; Although the CE suspension is undeniably unfortunate for Silimed, their discussion with Sientra&rsquo;s management left them feeling confident that there will be no supply or safety problems for Sientra going forward.

	They do warn investors, however, that Sientra&rsquo;s competitors &ldquo;will try to spin this negatively&mdash;which is why Sientra sent out the &lsquo;Dear Doctor&rsquo; letter referenced in the 8K filing.&rdquo;
