Alex Buschmann of Risk Strategies Talks Mitigating Risk At Benzinga's Cannabis Conference

Alex Buschmann, National Cannabis Practice Leader at Risk Strategies, spoke at a panel called “The Best Offense is a Good Defense: Mitigating Risk” at Benzinga’s Cannabis Capital Conference. Buschmann explained that much of insurance for cannabis companies is similar to every other industry because like every business, there is a base level of insurance that is needed to cover the assets and employees. However, nuances come into play when you are looking at regulatory specifications and that’s why mitigating risk is so important.
