Tesla Bear Michael Burry Voted Best Investor Tweeter, Bitcoin Bull Cathie Wood Comes Last Among Options: Survey

Participants of the MLIV Pulse survey, who were asked which investor has the best tweets, have voted for "The Big Short" investor Michael Burry, who rose to prominence by betting against the housing market in the run-up to the 2008 crash, according to a Bloomberg report.

Burry is known for posting and then deleting his tweets within a short span of time. Last week, Burry deleted his Twitter account, and surprisingly, the move followed after he had expressed his trust in Twitter CEO Elon MuskEarlier in 2021, Burry deleted his account after a spat with Musk over selling Tesla Inc’s TSLA shares. The investor is once again back on Twitter. On Saturday, he tweeted, “Every time I leave Twitter, it is because I have been canceled in a significant professional or personal way. So I must reflect. What is noteworthy is cancellers never see themselves that way. No, theirs are moral grounds apparently much, much higher than mine.”

Cathie Wood: The survey also showed ARK Investment Management founder Cathie Wood, whose flagship Ark Innovation ETF ARKK has plunged over 60% this year, ranked lowest among the survey options, according to the report.

On Sunday, Wood tweeted about her belief in Bitcoin BTC/USD explaining how the blockchain didn’t skip a beat during the whole FTX crisis. “The Bitcoin blockchain didn’t skip a beat during the crisis caused by opaque centralized players. No wonder Sam Bankman-Fried didn’t like Bitcoin: it’s transparent and decentralized. He couldn’t control it,” Wood tweeted.
